Location

Château d'Oex is part of the Pays-d'Enhaut which is located in the canton of Vaud, between the cantons of Bern and Fribourg.

Our village is accessible by car via the motorway, exit Bulle; from the other side through the Simmental and Zweisimmen, or also from Aigle over the Col des Mosses. If you prefer the train (the station is at 15 minutes’ walk from our chalet) you can take the MOB from Montreux or Zweisimmen.

From the Pays-d'Enhaut, there are many opportunities for outings (by car as well as by train), a drive to Gstaad (15 minutes away), a tour of Gruyères reachable in 30 minutes or a trip to the Col des Mosses (20 minutes away) and a lot more.
