Château d’Oex is the largest territorial community in the canton of Vaud.
 

Ideally situated near Gstaad for its jet-set atmosphere, and near L’Etivaz for its AOP cheese, plus of course more than famous for the balloon festival where balloons from all over the world gather every year, you can profit from this beautiful region to resource and enjoy yourself whilst appreciating the typically Swiss countryside.

We are also a mere half-hour’s train - or car journey from the famous Gruyères region, obviously more than famous for its cheese of the same name. You can pass a very enjoyable moment visiting the Gruyères castle or assisting at the processing of the widely known Gruyère cheese.
 

Moreover, you can stop off at nearby Broc, a small village well known for its 100% Swiss chocolate factory.

During your stay the lady of the house will be glad to assist and guide you in your search for visits to unknown and picturesque places in the region.
